Grass artsy

As the  love for craft beer  in Tallahassee grows we are going to see an increasing flow of new breweries and bars popping up in our wonderful city.  Grasslands Brewing Co is next to make the list. With a mission to create the best beer from the best organic ingredients possible while keeping conservation and sustainability on the fore front, Grasslands is surly on the path to success.

I first heard about Grasslands through the twitter sphere last February, and at first glance I was immediately intrigued and elated to see another brewery planning to enter the Tallahassee market.  I quickly followed them and began to adopt  the journey. As some time passed I learned about their Grasshoppers review Club. A R/D tool designed to spread the word and get feedback from consumers on potential beers that Grasslands plans to offer.  It operates on a monthly drawing and usually offers three different beers for people to win the chance to sample. All you have to do is give an honest review and its yous. Personally, Its a great way to be able to get you hands on some Grasslands brew before they open.

As for that, the plan is to open sometime in 2014. Where you might ask, well that is unknown at the moment, but talking with Gabe, the owner of Grasslands that is Grasshoppers Review Club. Grasslands Brewerysomething that should change very soon. I for one can’t wait. Not only does Gabe make delicious beer but I think he will be a great asset to the local craft beer community. One that is still young, but with folks like Grasslands in the mix we are bound to mature quickly.

If you are curious about Grasslands Brewing Co. please visit their Webpage or Facebook or Twitter or in Person.  I guarantee you will enjoy what you see.
